The Social Security number requested on the bond application is required by the surety to identify the principal and is used for no other purpose. Payment card information entered on the final step of the online application is transmitted over an encrypted connection to Surety One underwriting, is used only to charge the premium once the bond is issued, and is kept only as long as needed to issue the bond. We do not sell applicant information. This site uses Chatra for live chat and Google Fonts for typography; those services receive the technical data necessary to deliver them. Notary E&O protects you. The bond protects the public and must be repaid if a claim is paid; the E&O policy pays claims for honest errors in your official notarial acts with nothing to repay. Bond purchasers receive a discounted rate. Apply on paper or online; we quote the premium on application.
